Video-over-UTP

As an alternative to the traditional coax/fiber distribution, Adasca installs and maintains UTP-distribution systems, whereby users plug into an available CAT5 (or better) outlet to receive their broadband service.  This method of distribution is often preferred as many clients prefer only one infrastructure to support all their services.

This approach simplifies cable management, more easily facilitates moves, adds and changes, and creates a natural bridge to IPTV.

Our product experts would be pleased to show you how a video-over-UTP system can save you time and money.

Broadband Services
Broadband distribution is all about getting a strong clear signal for all channels, regardless of the source, to all video destinations within a campus. This involves three general functions: gathering, and often creating, the signals, adjusting the levels, and distributing them to end users.  The first two functions are handled by a head end, and the third is achieved in various ways.

Adasca provides both head-end and distribution systems in educational, corporate and government facilities.
