The Canadian Museum of Nature has selected Adasca as the lead telecommunications designer for the Victoria Memorial Museum Building Renewal project. Adasca's tasks for this project include:
review of existing infrastructure,
preparation of statement of work and bid documents for contractors,
design of Main Equipment Room, Telecommunications Spaces, and Exhibit cable systems,
integration of audio/visual exhibit systems to structured cabling system,
relocation of core network equipment and PBX to new facility,
design of power conditioning systems for critical systems,
project management of telecommunications systems, and
-
construction management.
Adasca was chosen for this project based on their BICSI-accreditted RCDD's on staff, solid past experience in Heritage buildings, and demonstrated experience of previous projects of this magnitude. The project is expected to complete in 2009.
