The Canadian Museum of Nature has selected Adasca as the lead telecommunications designer for the Victoria Memorial Museum Building Renewal project.  Adasca's tasks for this project include:

• review of existing infrastructure,

• preparation of statement of work and bid documents for contractors,

• design of Main Equipment Room, Telecommunications Spaces, and Exhibit cable systems,

• integration of audio/visual exhibit systems to structured cabling system,

• relocation of core network equipment and PBX to new facility,

• design of power conditioning systems for critical systems,

• project management of telecommunications systems, and

• construction management.

Adasca was chosen for this project based on their BICSI-accreditted RCDD's on staff, solid past experience in Heritage buildings, and demonstrated experience of previous projects of this magnitude.  The project is expected to complete in 2009.
